Platform Description

AceMax is an AI-powered exam preparation platform for ECAT (Engineering College Admission Test) and BCAT (Business College Admission Test) in Pakistan. We provide practice tests, adaptive MCQ generation, AI-assisted study guidance, performance analytics, and study planning tools. AceMax is a preparation aid and does not guarantee any specific exam results. Your exam success depends on your own effort, preparation, and circumstances beyond our control.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access. Each account is intended for a single individual user.
• You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
• You must notify us immediately at support@acemax.codewithalpha.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

Subscriptions & Payments

• AceMax offers Free and Pro subscription tiers. Feature availability varies by plan and is described on our pricing page.
• Pro subscriptions are available as Monthly (PKR 999/month) and Annual plans at listed prices.
• Payments are processed through JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or bank transfer. We do not directly handle or store your payment credentials.
• Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the current billing period ends. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
• We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time Pro subscriptions, provided you have not completed more than 5 practice tests during that period.
• Prices are subject to change with at least 30 days prior notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price increase takes effect on their next billing cycle.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or share questions from the MCQ bank in any form (screenshots, text, photographs, etc.)
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or any form of programmatic access to access, extract, or download Platform content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, hack, or breach Platform security or infrastructure
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account
• Use the Platform for any purpose other than personal exam preparation
• Submit false information, impersonate another person, or create multiple accounts
• Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Platform or its connected networks

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

Intellectual Property

All content on AceMax — including MCQs, analytics algorithms, AI models and their outputs, UI design, branding, logos, and source code — is the intellectual property of AceMax and its team, or is used under license. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform for personal exam preparation purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. While we strive for accuracy in our question bank and analytics, we do not warrant that: (a) all questions are error-free or reflect the exact format of actual exams, (b) the Platform will be available without interruption or be error-free, (c) any defects will be corrected, or (d) using AceMax will result in passing any specific exam. Your exam success depends on your own effort and preparation.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AceMax and its team, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or exam failure, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement is limited to the amount you actually paid for your subscription in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to AceMax, other users, or third parties. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@acemax.codewithalpha.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately and any remaining subscription period is forfeited. We may retain anonymized and aggregated performance data for analytics and platform improvement purposes.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AceMax and its team from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your use of the Platform, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Modified" date. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or a prominent announcement on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
