Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and AceMax (“AceMax”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They govern your use of acemaxpakistan.com, our event sites, our mobile app and everything available through them (together, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, registering for an event, making a purchase or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to visitors without an account, registered users on the free plan and paying subscribers alike. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Eligibility & Accounts

Who may use the Platform

You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, we encourage you to use the Platform and make purchases with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for any purchase made.

Your account

• You must give accurate, current information when registering and keep it up to date.
• Your account is personal to you. You may not share, sell, transfer or lend your login details, and each account is for one individual.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Signing in on a new device ends your session on the previous one. We use this and other signals to detect account sharing.
• Tell us immediately at acemaxpakistan@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Our Services

AceMax is an exam preparation platform for ECAT (Engineering College Admission Test) and BCAT (Business College Admission Test) in Pakistan. The Platform includes:

• Practice tests: custom and adaptive tests generated from our question bank, with scoring and performance analytics.
• Full mock exams: university-style mocks, including those run as Mockathon sessions.
• Jojo AI: an AI study assistant.
• Planning tools: study plans, streaks, and the aggregate calculator.
• Past papers and downloads: available on the plans that include them.
• Events: Prepathon and Mockathon.

AceMax offers a free plan and paid Pro and Premium plans. What each plan includes, and its daily limits on tests, Jojo AI questions and downloads, is described on our pricing page. Daily limits reset at midnight Pakistan time. We may change limits, add features, or retire features over time. Where a change would materially reduce what you have already paid for, we will make reasonable efforts to tell you and to offer a fair alternative.

Jojo AI

Jojo AI generates replies using a third-party AI model. By using it you agree that:

• Answers may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. They are a study aid, not a substitute for your textbooks, teachers or the official exam syllabus.
• You will not enter sensitive personal information, passwords or payment details into a chat.
• You will not use Jojo AI to produce unlawful, abusive or harmful content, or try to make it ignore its instructions or limits.
• Your conversations are saved to your account, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we may review them to investigate misuse.
• The assistants are subject to your plan’s daily question limit.

Prepathon and Mockathon

Prepathon is a weekly timed test and Mockathon is a series of university mock exams. They run to a published schedule, and these rules apply on top of the rest of these Terms:

• You must register with accurate details before you can take part. Registration is per session.
• An attempt counts only if it starts within the session window. Where an event uses negative marking, the scoring rules shown for that event apply.
• Leaderboards rank by score and then by the time taken, and may show your name, score and time publicly.
• Do not share questions, answers or screenshots from a live session, use another person’s help, or run more than one attempt through multiple accounts. We may disqualify an attempt and remove a result that breaks these rules.
• Schedules, content and formats can change, and a session can be postponed or cancelled if a technical problem or other circumstance makes it unfair to run. Events do not guarantee any prize or admission outcome unless a specific prize is announced for that event.

Plans & Payment

Prices

All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. The amount shown at checkout after any promo code is the amount you pay. We may change prices at any time with notice, but a change never affects a plan you have already paid for. Promotional pricing and promo codes apply only for the period and conditions stated, and each code is for the use it was issued for.

How payment works

Payments are made by JazzCash, EasyPaisa or bank transfer to the account details shown at checkout. After paying, you submit the purchase form with a clear receipt or screenshot of the transaction. We do not collect or store your card or wallet credentials.

Verification

• Every submission is reviewed by a person on our team before your plan is activated. This is usually done within a few hours but can take longer during busy periods.
• We may reject a submission where the receipt is unclear or altered, the amount does not match, the payment cannot be traced, or we reasonably suspect fraud.
• If a submission is rejected we will tell you why. Where a genuine payment was received, we will either resolve the issue or return the amount.
• Submitting a forged, altered or fraudulent receipt is a serious breach of these Terms and will lead to immediate and permanent termination of your account.

Plan period

Pro and Premium plans are prepaid for a fixed period (for example one, three, eight or twelve months, depending on what is offered). They start when we activate them and do not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel. When a plan expires your account returns to the free plan and its limits, and you keep your history and results. To continue, buy a new plan.

No Refunds

• All payments are final. Once your plan is activated, we do not give refunds, in full or in part. This includes unused time, exam results, a change of mind, and a suspension or termination under these Terms.
• Payment mistakes are corrected with plan time. If you are charged twice for the same plan, or you pay and your plan is not activated, we will activate your plan or extend it to cover the extra payment.
• If a fault on our side stops you from using your plan, we will extend it by the time you lost.

Acceptable Use

When using the Platform, you agree that you will not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute or share questions, explanations or other content from our question bank in any form, including screenshots, photographs, text or PDF files.
• Use bots, scrapers, scripts or any automated access to extract content or put an unreasonable load on the Platform.
• Share your account, or let others use it, or create multiple accounts to get around limits or events.
• Try to get around plan limits, daily quotas, rate limits, download limits or any security measure, or probe the Platform for weaknesses without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or try to derive the source code of the Platform.
• Submit false information, impersonate someone else, or upload unlawful or malicious content.
• Use the Platform for anything other than your own exam preparation, or for any unlawful purpose.

We monitor for account sharing and unauthorised distribution of content. Breaking this section can lead to immediate suspension or termination without a refund, and we may pursue any other remedy available to us.

Ambassador and Organizer Programs

The AceMax Student Ambassador Program and the verified organizer role are separate opportunities with their own application and review process. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, and we may accept, reject or end a role at our discretion.

• You must give truthful information and genuine identity documents when applying.
• Ambassadors and organizers represent AceMax to other students. They must not charge students for access to AceMax, claim AceMax is something it is not, or misuse a referral code.
• Referral codes are issued to one person, may not be sold or shared publicly beyond their intended use, and can be changed or disabled by us.
• Any further rules we give you for the role form part of these Terms. Breaking them can end your role and may lead to account termination.

Intellectual Property

All content on AceMax, including our questions and explanations, analytics, AI prompts and outputs, design, branding, logos and software, belongs to AceMax and its team or is used under licence, and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Platform for your own exam preparation only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works from Platform content without our written permission.

Past papers and other material that comes from exam bodies and universities remain the property of their owners and are provided for study and revision. AceMax is an independent service and is not endorsed by, or affiliated with, any university or testing body. If you believe something on the Platform infringes your rights, contact us with the details and we will look into it promptly.

Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on and links to third-party services, including sign-in, payment apps and banks, email delivery, AI models, analytics and hosting. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

• We do not promise that every question is free of errors or matches the exact format of the real exam, so always check against your syllabus and official exam material.
• We do not promise that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be fixed on a particular timeline, or that using AceMax will lead to any specific result.
• Aggregate calculators and merit or admission information are estimates built from published criteria that universities can change. Confirm with the university before you rely on them.
• Results and testimonials shown on the Platform describe other students’ outcomes and are not a promise of your own.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AceMax and its team, officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits or exam failure, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless AceMax and its team from claims, damages, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of anyone else’s rights.

Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time and may ask us to delete your account by emailing acemaxpakistan@gmail.com. Deletion is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, and any remaining plan time ends with your account.

We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if you break these Terms, in particular the acceptable use, event and payment sections, if we reasonably believe your conduct harms AceMax, other students or third parties, or if the law requires it. Where this happens because of your breach, no refund is given.

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law, still apply after your access ends.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. For material changes we will give notice by email or a prominent announcement on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter directly. Most issues are settled quickly that way. If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in full effect and the invalid part is limited to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable.
